Zinfandel Festival Weekend at Vina Robles

Join us as we celebrate Zinfandel!  Below is a listing of our offerings for the weekend.

Friday - 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Enjoy a truly memorable Zin-ful night of music and movies at Vina Robles, on the eve of Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival. The SLOIFF and Opera San Luis Obispo (formerly Pacific Repertory Opera) are collaborating to present A NIGHT AT THE MOULIN ROUGE. The evening begins with a wine tasting reception in the stunning Vina Robles Tasting Room. Nibble on tantalizing appetizers while enjoying several arias by local opera singers, promoting their April production of LA BOHEME. Then guests will have the opportunity to purchase glasses or bottles of wine, dine on complimentary desserts and coffee at bistro tables in the Latin Quarter Room, and enjoy one of the most awe-inspiring musical films ever made--Moulin Rouge--introduced by Opera SLO's Artistic Director, Robert Ashens, who will touch on how this film and others (RENT) were adapted from the original novel and opera, La Boheme.

Saturday - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Stop by Vina Robles to enjoy complimentary Cuvee and Estate wine tasting all day.  Live music featuring award winning singer and songwriter, Jade Jackson from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. 

Sunday - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Fun fondue and wine...perfectly paired!  Sample any of our Cuvee or Estate wines at no cost, while enjoying complimentary Swiss chocolate fondue with all the trimmings for dipping.  Fun fondue 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

We will also be offering extended discounts on select wines all weekend.

Big Band Sundays at Vina Robles

Springtime is swing time as Vina Robles continues "Big Band Sundays".  Put on your dancing shoes and join us as we present the Cal Poly Jazz, Blues and Boogie Big Band under the direction of Paul Rinzler with vocalist Sunny Wright.

A powerful and compelling jazz vocalist, Sunny Wright has sung with Red Holloway, Pete Escovido, and has opened for David Benoit and Elvin Bishop.  She has sung at Birdland in New York City, in Las Vegas, and throughout the Central Coast.  

Guests are encouraged to dress in vintage big band-era attire.  A large dance floor will beckon veteran swing dancers and novices alike.  Vina Robles wines will be available for purchase and enjoyment during the concert.

Wine Club Pick-up Party - A Taste of Vina Robles

Join us for a delicious Sunday afternoon as we feature our latest releases paired with culinary treats crafted by our own Chef Martin Columberg.  The festivities are complimentary to all Signature Wine Club members.  Those who are registered as pick-up members will be able take home their April shipment at this event.  Please RSVP by April 7th to Kathy Jones at 805-227-4812.

Springtime is swing time as Vina Robles continues "Big Band Sundays".  Put on your dancing shoes and join us as we present the Cal Poly Jazz, Blues and Boogie Big Band under the direction of Paul Rinzler with vibraphonist Charlie Shoemake.   

Guests are encouraged to dress in vintage big band-era attire.  A large dance floor will beckon veteran swing dancers and novices alike.  Vina Robles wines will be available for purchase and enjoyment during the concert.
