The harvest started on August 31st with Sauvignon Blanc from the Jardine Vineyard. Our Bordeaux varietals from the Jardine Vineyard — Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon — were all very ripe with high sugar levels. This year marked our first harvest of Syrah, selected from Pleasant Valley and Huerhuero vineyards. All fruit was hand-picked then crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wines were then aged in French and American oak for up to 16 months.
