Great Scores from Wine Enthusiast Magazine
Some great scores, along with some fabulous comments from Matt Kettmann, congrats to Kevin and Carter and their stellar teams.
93 Points, Editors' Choice - 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine delivers loads of Paso Robles richness at a fair price, starting with lush aromas of black cherry, caramel and mocha cream. The palate starts soft and inviting, with more cherry and caramel, then firms up with tighter tannins and penetrating acidity. — MATT KETTMANN
93 Points - 2016 Suendero
Deep, dark and hearty on the nose, this blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec and 17% Petit Verdot begins with beautiful aromas of black cherry, blackberry, licorice and caramel. It’s lush and candied on the palate, with açai and more purple fruits, yet the tannins are firm and the acidity adds freshness. — MATT KETTMANN
91 Points - 2017 Petite Sirah
Concentrated aromas of black plum and elderberry get a slight peppercorn lift on the nose of this bottling. Dried leather, berries, pepper and crushed slate flavors arise on the palate. — MATT KETTMANN
