WIN-WIN | 20-20 Sitewide Sale, a benefit for the COVID-19 Community Response Project

With the current COVID-19 pandemic, individuals and families are now struggling more than ever to make ends meet, putting many on the verge of homelessness. Countless community members rely on a steady paycheck to pay utility bills, purchase groceries, and pay rent; many of them are now furloughed, have had their hours cut, or were laid off due to the pandemic. These folks aren’t just nameless statistics – they are our friends and neighbors – they are part of our community.

In order to help minimize this otherwise likely increase in local homelessness, we are supporting the COVID-19 Community Response Project put together by must! charities and the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.

This assistance fund dissemination will be managed by the El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO), by building on its current experience with assistance funding and adding screening tools, as well as referral and intake procedures for those currently housed. Assistance will encompass more than just financial relief as case management will ensure clients' success and well-being in the program with an action plan, wrap-around support, and follow-up case management. Funding will result in far fewer homeless individuals and families than would otherwise be the case. This in turn will have positive economic and social impacts throughout our community, including less trauma, fewer dollars needed to support health and social service programs, an economy that rebounds more quickly, and a society with a stronger ethical foundation.

We feel this project will make a real difference and invite you to join us in our support. You can do that by participating in our WIN-WIN | 20-20 event, where you get 20% off, and we donate 20% of net proceeds to the COVID-19 Community Response Project. Alternatively, click here to donate directly. No matter how you choose to participate, must! charitiesensures that 100% of all donations go straight to the project.

WIN-WIN / 20-20 offer valid until October 31 or while supplies last.

The Bistro at Vina Robles is Open!

Service will take place in the clean outdoor air on our beautiful Jardine Court from 11am to 4pm, Friday-Sunday. We can accommodate groups of up to four people at this time, and require that a reservation be made before arrival. Book your lunch reservation online here, or by giving us a call at 805-227-4812, option 1.

We have spent the last couple of weeks developing our reopening plan, and training our team members accordingly. In order to provide a risk-free experience for everyone, we have adhered to all guidelines set forth by County, State, and Federal agencies.

You will notice a few new things when you arrive:

  • A host will greet you under the pergola at the entrance right out front.
  • Hand sanitizer will be made available.
  • Our team will be wearing face coverings; we request that you do the same. (After your order has been placed, we of course expect that yours will be removed.)
  • Tables have been positioned at least six feet apart, and will not be set until your party has been seated.
  • Our Menu and Wine Lists have been refreshed with summer seasonal items and new wine releases.
  • Printed menus will not be reused (you may keep yours if you would like). Alternatively, the menu is available on our website to allow viewing on your device if preferred.

Please bear with us as we navigate these new standards, and feel free to give us a call with any and all questions. We look forward to seeing you!

WIN-WIN | 20-20 Sitewide Sale, a benefit for SLO Food Bank

Our communities are relying now more than ever on the support of food banks for access to wholesome nutrition. Before the current crisis, one in six people in SLO County struggled with food insecurity – that number has tripled in the last two months.

The SLO Food Bank distributes food in three ways — 1) through 77 partner agencies that have pick-up sites and food pantries throughout the county, 2) through a neighborhood food distribution service and, 3) in partnership with the county, directly to homes of self-isolating individuals.

The SLO Food Bank served around 3,000 households per month at the beginning of this year. That number rose to 8,000 in April, and is projected to hit 9,000 this month.

About 75% of the organization’s funding comes from community donations. Monetary donations have a tremendous impact – just $1 translates to 8 meals!

Please join us in our effort to support the SLO Food Bank as they work to meet the increased demand in our communities. You can do that by participating in our WIN-WIN 20-20 event, or by donating directly here.

Hunger Awareness Day is June 5. SLO Food Bank's signature event will be going virtual this year.

Offer valid at vinarobles.com until May 31 while supplies last.
