“Signature” is a distinctive blend of two lesser known grapes – Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah – which flourish in our Paso Robles climate. Petit Verdot comes from the Bordeaux area; Petite Sirah – also called Durif – originates from Southern France. Both varieties are known for their intense color and for delivering a generous amount of ageworthy tannins.

The Petit Verdot comes from our Adelaida Springs and Huerhuero Vineyards. The Adelaida Springs Ranch is located in the rugged coastal mountains west of Paso Robles. Here, at an elevation of 1,700 feet and just 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean, the ranch’s small vineyard is planted in calcareous soils, the result of uplifted ancient sea beds. The Petit Verdot on Huerhuero Vineyard is planted to high density blocks where it produces wines with deep color, rich flavor and good tannin structure.

This vintage reflects the 7th anniversary of this limited-production Estate Cuvée.

Enjoy now through 2019.
